As a pension fund, the Lancashire County Pension Fund’s (“the Fund”) investment horizon is long-term.

The investment strategy is based on the Fund’s objectives of balancing capital growth with capital preservation, maintaining adequate cash flows to cover all liabilities as they fall due.

Correspondingly, the Fund invests its assets to meet its liabilities over the long-term, and performance should be assessed against these objectives and over a commensurate period.
